Welcome!

Hey all!

I'm Cole. I'm a young Canadian guy who loves to... wait for it.... explore! Go figure eh?
For me, exploring takes on loads of different shapes and sizes. It can range anywhere from meeting new people to visiting places I've never been before. It might be motorcycle trips through Thai mountain passes, hosting domestic and international travellers, canoeing in the Arctic or hunting for big game. It involves doing new things and inherently learning something along the way. I enjoy the excitement of exploring new areas, hearing unknown stories and adventures yet to be had.
That's what this page is about. It'll be a collection of memories, hopes, goals, relationships, stories, rants, lessons and whatever else I want to blab on about. Hopefully I'll keep up with it rather consistently, but previous experience tells me I wont... (RYE Thailand 2012-2013, a blog I wrote quite intermittently about my time living in Thailand a few years back [there is a link to it in the column on the right of this page if you wanna take a peak]). Here's to trying again anyways though!

Gotta Start Somewhere

It ain't always easy to keep up to date with back home...

It's 01:55 Central European Time right now. I've got the Canadian Federal elections streaming live on the YouTubes, am chatting with the famjam and checking in with how things are going for them and am trying to stay up to date with some pretty exciting times with the Blue Jays. Class starts tomorrow at 09:00 (for those who won't be up until 04:00 watching the news...). Exams are coming up here next week and my papers are all over the floor in the hopes that the information will just sorta permeate out and make me brilliant(er) all on its own, however I'm not too hopeful.

Busy times. I wish I liked coffee.
